Benefits of Moringa Oil on beard & hair

Below is a detailed analysis of the nutritional composition of Moringa and the benefits of Moringa on hair.

#1. Vitamins A and B in Moringa promotes hair growth

Moringa contains both Vitamins A and B that nourish the hair and promote growth.

Moringa contains high contents of vitamin A, thus supporting hair growth. Vitamin A plays a very vital role in the development of healthy cells and tissues in the body and in reducing hair loss.

Vitamin A deficiency causes thickening of the scalp, dry hair, and dandruff. Meaning using Moringa helps moisturize your hair and keeps off dandruff. Vitamin A also stimulates the production of sebum from the sebaceous glands. Sebum moisturizes the scalp and helps keep the hair healthy.

Vitamin B aids in creating red blood cells which carry oxygen and nutrients to the scalp and hair follicles. Proper blood circulation in the scalp allows the hair follicles to grow strong and healthy.

Hair loss can also occur if you have a vitamin B deficiency especially Vitamin B6, inositol, biotin, and folic acid.

#2. Iron in Moringa prevents hair loss

Moringa is one of the top vegetable sources of iron makes it a suitable herb for natural hair growth.

According to various medical journals, Iron deficiency has been associated with hair loss. Iron boosts oxygen circulation in the blood, all the way to your scalp. When your scalp has a sufficient supply of oxygen your hair follicles grow better.

#3. Zinc present in Moringa promotes healthy hair follicles

The Moringa plant contains zinc, which stimulates hair growth. Both zinc and Vitamins protect the hair from drying and clogging of sebaceous glands, which are responsible for sebum production.

Low levels of zinc have been linked to poor hair growth and even hair loss. (1)

Zinc is a very important contributor to healthy hair follicles, which are the roots of every single hair on your head. Zinc improves hair growth by supporting damaged hair follicles to recover more quickly. It helps keep the oil glands around the follicles working properly.

#4. The essential amino acids in Moringa nourishes the hair strands

Moringa is rich in amino acids (arginine, cysteine, lysine, and methionine), the building blocks of all our body cells. (2)

Cysteine is the most crucial amino acid for hair growth. Cysteine is a strong antioxidant that protects the hair from sun damage and other harmful radiations. It also provides Sulphur to the hair cells which improves the texture and strengthens the hair. A portion of Moringa every morning can give you exactly what you need.

#5. Vitamins C & E in Moringa fights oxidative stress

Vitamins C & E are very powerful antioxidants that aid in fighting against damaging free radicals. Free radicals get into the body from both the inside and outside, causing hair to weaken and even turn grey.

Vitamin C helps in combating this damage while vitamin E can help in repairing the damage that is already done. Both Vitamin C and E help improve blood circulation in the scalp. This is vital in maintaining the capillaries that carry blood to the follicles.

Proper flow of blood to the scalp helps the absorption of nutrients in the hair follicles.

#6. Omega 3 in Moringa nourishes hair

Omega 3 fatty acids or unsaturated fats also play a major part in maintaining healthy hair. Most people think of salmon whenever they hear about Omega 3 fatty acids, but what you should also know is, Moringa is a great plant-based source of this fatty acid.

Omega 3s help thicken hair strands by enriching them with healthy fats. The fatty acids in omega 3 also reduce inflammation of the scalp and nourish hair follicles, encouraging hair growth and overall hair health. (3)

These fatty acids also promote blood circulation, soothe and moisturize the scalp preventing dryness and dandruff. The fatty acids also encourage the production of scalp oils, which naturally coat hair strands, helping to transform dry hair giving it life.

The Omega 3s in Moringa help increase hair strength and thickness. By increasing hair elasticity, your hair looks more beautiful, bouncier with less breakage.

Finally, omega 3 contributes positively to your hair’s natural sheen, leaving your hair with a beautiful shine even without shine products.

Anyone looking for glowing, healthy hair would do well to incorporate Moringa into their daily diet or as a hair rinse and mask.

#7. Proteins in Moringa promote hair growth

Hair is majorly made of the protein keratin. Getting a healthy dose of protein from your daily diet is very essential in ensuring that your hair grows.

“Regular consumption and use of Moringa nourishes and strengthens the hair to give you thick, healthy, and shiny hair. The acidic properties of Moringa cure dandruff and scalp psoriasis helping in improving the health of the scalp.” ~ Laurriette Rota

The Best Moringa For Your Skin Is Cold-Pressed Moringa Seed Oil!

Moringa is also rich in vitamin A, C, E. The presence of these vitamins helps to build collagen which ultimately preserves the youthfulness of the skin.

The oil is treasured by the Egyptians for skin protection against infections and damage due to extremes of desert conditions.
Ancient usage of Moringa Oleifera has been widely reported. The use of the oil extracted from the mature seeds by ancient Egyptians has been well documented. The benefits of the healthful attributes of the oil were later exported to the Ancient Greeks and Romans who also used the oil in skin protection. The light and non-drying nature of the oil e makes it a good massage oil and also in aromatherapy applications.
Due to its tremendous cosmetic value, it was used extensively by the ancient Egyptians as body and hair care as moisturizer and conditioner. The oil also has an excellent ability to retain fragrances extracted from flowers.

Moringa / Moringa Oil

The Moringa tree is referred to as the miracle tree because all parts of the tree are utilized for their considerable pharmacological and nutritional value. Moringa seeds have a high oil content and contain many nutritional compounds, including monounsaturated fats, protein, sterols, and tocopherols.

Its seeds contain about 40% of oil which is high in oleic acid triglycerides and, for this reason, is often compared to olive oil,” says Olioso, who notes that the oil leaves behind a nice texture on the skin, and also contains powerful antioxidant tocopherols—like Vitamin E and calming sterols, which she says makes it ideal for cosmetic applications. Moringa oil is found in numerous cosmetics due to its moisturizing, cleansing, and emollient properties.

Cold-Pressed Moringa Oil Nourishes & Repairs

The Moringa oil is filled with vitamins and nutrients that are used to cure diseases, aid in sexual vitality, and even increase breast milk production! The uses and benefits of Moringa oil are endless. Studies have confirmed that the properties of Moringa oil can be extremely beneficial to health and Beauty needs.

  • Hydrating: “Moringa oil is 40% monounsaturated fatty acids, with 70% of that being oleic acid,” says King. “This makes it great for supporting the skin barrier, which seals in hydration and protects us from environmental insults. This means that it is a good moisturizer and beneficial for dry and sensitive skin.”
  • Cleansing: Those fatty acids—particularly oleic acid, a compound found in Moringa—make Moringa a very cleansing oil.
  • Anti-aging: Providing that the product is comprised of “relatively fresh oil with a low free oleic acid content,” says Olioso, it will be effective at plumping fine lines and contributing to an overall more youthful appearance.
  • Healing: Because of its emollient properties, Moringa is a solid choice for applying to minor cuts, burns, and scrapes.
  • Balancing: “Moringa oil is also similar to the oil naturally produced by our skin, which means that it can help to balance and nourish all skin types without being greasy,” says King.
  • Anti-microbial: “It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties as well, and because of its high content of vitamin E, it also has potent antioxidant properties,” says King.
  • Combats breakouts: The anti-inflammatory properties can also help contribute to clearer skin, counteracting breakouts. “It is an ingredient commonly used to address skin issues like pigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and even acne-prone skin,” says Zeichner.
  • Therapeutic: Moringa oil is often used in aromatherapy products, as a carrier oil (due to its long shelf life).

What Makes Bali Vegan Skin Care Special?

 Ingredients, Traditions & Intention!

There are many reasons that make our natural resources here in Bali so special but I’ll keep this short & to the point.

Bali is known as the island of the Gods and continues until this day to be well connected to the divine and mother earth alike. There’s no other place on this planet quite like Bali, daily blessings & ceremonies are a part of the culture.

Giving thanks to mother earth is a regular practice that we too have adapted into our business.

Bali is a relatively small island that has a history of making natural medicine from locally grown botanicals.  Most of the island is covered with healing plants and trees that are wild grown & harvested with human hands under a warm tropical sun.

There are no big factories on the island.  We produce smaller quantities & package our products the old fashion way, with loving human hands.

Sukime’s first priority is to make awesome plant-based sustainable products that serve our customers’ needs without causing harm to mother earth or any animals.

Our second priority is to help local children. We donate 10% of all online revenue to help local children who are less fortunate. That means 10% of everything you spend with us will go directly to helping underprivileged kids in Bali.

Visit Our Mission page for more information about how we serve the community here.
